We were joking during preps that Julie’s wedding is a bigating wedding. Why? Mabigat ang gown. Mabigat ang veil (which, excuse you, were studded with hundreds if not thousands of Swarovski crystals. Julie would correct you lest you mistake them with mere sequins or beads :p). Mabigat din daw ang false eyelashes. And not to mention there’s also bigating ninong, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan! We were very afraid that she would buckle down under all that weight, but thank God she managed to walk down the aisle gracefully.
