We were joking during preps that Julie’s wedding is a bigating wedding. Why? Mabigat ang gown. Mabigat ang veil (which, excuse you, were studded with hundreds if not thousands of Swarovski crystals. Julie would correct you lest you mistake them with mere sequins or beads :p). Mabigat din daw ang false eyelashes. And not to mention there’s also bigating ninong, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan! We were very afraid that she would buckle down under all that weight, but thank God she managed to walk down the aisle gracefully.
Special thanks to Kristina, Julie’s sister and my batchmate in high school, for referring me to Julie:)

Hair by Alex Leyson
Wedding gown by Albert Andrada (Who, excuse you again, is the Royal designer for Fujairah, UAE. He only designs gowns for the queen and the princess, but since Julie’s ninong is his brother, he agreed to do her gown. So there, another bigatin– bigating designer!)

What were we laughing about?
natural-looking false eyelashes are a bride’s bestfriend and hey, these aren’t heavy at all!
do you see what I mean by bigating veil?
